Sean Foote was born and raised in Santa Rosa, CA and has lived in Sonoma County for 25 years. He has also resided in Southern California and Copenhagen, Denmark. Sean’s life has been centered around fine art, photography, design and sales. It was natural for him to head’s-up Gaia Earthwork’s design, marketing and business development.

Sean’s educational background includes an AA in Graphic Design, a BA in Art (with emphasis in Graphic Design), along with extensive study of art history, cultural anthropology, marketing, and computer based design. Sean is certified in Adobe graphics applications and is also an accomplished fine artist and photographer having won awards for both.

Sean has years of experience in sales and product development. Sean ran operations for design and product development companies building brands and products from the ground up. He has also trained and led successful sales teams with numerous awards and acknowledgements in the San Diego Metropolitan area. Sean has been involved in the local leadership of the San Diego and San Francisco chapters of the AIGA - the American Institute of Graphic Arts. He worked on a grass roots level within the AIGA to reinvent the San Francisco chapters image and communication structure.

Sean’s professional background incorporates a unique blend of sales, design, production and marketing. He handles all product development and is lead designer for Gaia Earthworks where he applies his extensive experience and background in print and web design. As the co-owner of the company, Sean helps keep all business facets of Gaia Earthworks functioning at an optimum level.
